I'm not technical. Can I actually use this?

Absolutely — and you don't set anything up yourself. After your onboarding call, everything is configured for you: your properties, GTA data, staff accounts, and payment setup. If you can use WhatsApp and Excel, you can use HostIQ.

How long does setup take?

You're live within 24 hours of your onboarding call. The call is 30 minutes. We do the configuration and import your existing guest and property data — you do nothing technical.

What do I need to bring to get started?

Just your property details, your GTA licence info, and however you currently track bookings — a spreadsheet, a notebook, WhatsApp threads, whatever. We take it from there and get it into HostIQ for you.

Do I have to install anything?

No. HostIQ runs in your browser on your phone or laptop. Nothing to download, nothing to maintain. Log in and everything's there.

Can I manage all my properties from one account?

Yes. HostIQ is built specifically for multi-property managers. Run 1 to 50+ properties under a single login. Each property gets its own dashboard, compliance status, bookings, and financials — all rolled up into one overview screen.

Does it work with Airbnb?

Yes. HostIQ keeps your Airbnb availability in step with your bookings so two guests never book the same night, and deeper two-way Airbnb integration is on our roadmap.

What about my direct and off-platform bookings?

You can upgrade at any time and we prorate the difference. Grow from a handful of properties to a larger portfolio and we move you to the right plan on your next renewal cycle — no service interruption, no data migration on your end.

Do you support MoMo?

Accepted Answer

Yes. HostIQ accepts MTN Mobile Money, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money, and card — powered by Paystack, settled in Cedi. No USD conversion, no foreign checkout, no fees you can't explain to a guest.

How much does HostIQ cost?

Simple, transparent pricing in GHS — one setup fee plus one annual subscription, with no hidden fees and no per-booking charges. Starter (1–3 properties) is ₵5,000 one-time setup plus ₵3,600/year. Professional (4–15 properties) is ₵12,000 setup plus ₵9,600/year. More than 15 properties? Enterprise pricing is custom.

Are there any per-booking or hidden fees?

No. You pay your setup fee once and your subscription once a year. We don't take a cut of your bookings and we don't add surprise charges. What you see on the pricing page is what you pay.

Is billing in Cedi or dollars?

Cedi. Everything — pricing, your dashboard, reports, guest payments — is in GHS. Nothing is translated from a US price list.

Can I pay for my subscription with MoMo too?

Yes. You can settle your HostIQ subscription the same way your guests pay you — mobile money or card, in Cedi.

How is this different from Guesty, Hostaway, or other global tools?

HostIQ was built from scratch for Accra — not translated for it. GTA compliance tracking, generator/power cost tracking, MoMo payments, Ghana Card ID capture, and GHS pricing are in from day one. Global tools don't do any of that, because they weren't built where you host.

What is the GTA compliance tracker?

It tracks your Ghana Tourism Authority licensing and status for every property in one place — what's compliant, what's expiring, what needs action — so a lapse doesn't turn into a fine. No global competitor offers this.

Can it really track my generator fuel costs?

Yes — and no other tool does. Generator fuel is logged as a dedicated cost line per property and shown as a percentage of that property's revenue. You see exactly which unit is eating your profit at the pump.

Do you capture Ghana Card details for guests?

Yes. You can capture and store each guest's Ghana Card on their profile at booking, so you have verified ID on file before check-in — built for local verification, not a foreign passport field.

My cleaner won't use an app. Does that matter?

No. You assign tasks in HostIQ and your staff get them by SMS via Arkesel — no app, no login, no smartphone required. Photo proof of completion comes back so “it's done” actually means done.

Can I give staff limited access?

Yes. Roles and permissions let each person see only what they need — your accountant sees the money, your cleaner sees their tasks, your caretaker sees their property. You see everything.

How many staff accounts do I get?

You can add staff accounts on every plan, with higher limits as you scale, and SMS task automation via Arkesel is included on the higher tiers. We'll set the right number up with you during onboarding.

Is my data safe? What about outages?

HostIQ runs on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with 99.9% uptime and automated backups. Your data is encrypted in transit and kept completely isolated from every other account on the platform.

Who can see my financials and guest data?

Only the people you give access to. Role-based permissions keep sensitive financials and guest records with the right people, and an audit trail tracks key actions in the background.

What happens to my data if I leave?

It's yours. You can request an export of your bookings, guests, and financial records — we don't hold your business hostage.

What support do I get?

You reach us on WhatsApp — where you already are. Higher-tier plans get priority WhatsApp support, and Enterprise gets a dedicated account manager. No ticket portals, no waiting on email.

Am I locked into a long contract?

Billing is annual. There's no per-booking lock-in and no surprise auto-charges beyond your yearly renewal — you always know what's coming and when.
